SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
1Supplier is voluntarily preparing itself by publishing our sustainability report to account for and disclose our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and to formulate mitigation and removal strategies
This aligns with Singapore’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) under the Paris Agreement and the national goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050.
While current regulations under the Singapore Green Plan 2030 mandate sustainability reporting only for listed companies and non-listed large companies, 1Supplier recognises the role that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play in the national emissions landscape. As one of roughly 300,000 SMEs in Singapore, we are aware of our environmental impact and believe that publishing our sustainability report is both a social responsibility and a strategic business decision.
OBJECTIVES:
- Position the company for greater opportunities, acknowledging our contribution as our client's Scope 3 emission.
- Acknowledge our impact on the immediate environment and communitie, and address it as a socially responsible enterprise.
- Begin emissions tracking early, before its mandated, to lay the foundation for meaningful and measurable carbon reduction.
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
While sustainability can be challenging in the pharmaceutical sector, we believe in taking a leadership role by actively raising awareness and promoting emission transparency across the lifecycle of pharmaceutical manufacturing, from design to operations.
As a premier supplier of pharmaceutical equipment and integrated solutions, we are uniquely positioned to influence sustainability from the consulting phase through to post-qualification maintenance.
METHODOLOGY:
- Declaring estimated emission factors of our equipment and solutions within client-facing materials to support informed decision-making
- Integrating emissions awareness into our design and consulting services to help clients identify and mitigate carbon hotspots early.
- Collaborate with our principals to optimise the emissions associated with manufacturing and delivering their equipment.
