Designed for local extraction of pharmaceutical pollutants
Born from constant attention to our customers and their needs, the Pharma extraction arm is specific for the localized collection of pharmaceutical pollutants. Available in diameters of 125 and 160 mm, can be installed both inside production areas of large pharmaceutical industries or in small laboratories. The Pharma extraction arm prevents risks of cross-contamination, thanks to the structure and the completely removable and washable cover which is also flexible and with a smooth inner surface thus avoiding the accumulation of material residues from the suction flow.
Available in 125-160 mm diameter and with a length of 2, 3, 4 and 5 meters.
Applications
Particularly suitable within the pharmaceutical and food industry and in all environments requiring the avoidance of risks from cross-contamination and a thorough cleaning of the equipment.
Thanks to the localized collection of pollutants, the Pharma extraction arm preserves the respiratory tract of the pharmaceutical operators, avoiding their direct and prolonged contact with fumes, fine dust and chemical substances of various kinds.
Rotation and handling
The movement of the arm is simple and easy, thanks to the presence of the 360° swivel base and the 3 articulations on the vertical plane joints. The additional joints on the hood enable the orientation of the collection towards the pollutant source. The protective sleeve that covers the structure can be removed easily during the washing and cleaning operations of the extraction arm. The 3-meter version can be supplied with an internal extension of one meter. In the version of 4 and 5 meters it comes with an internal extension of two meters.

Specifications
Extraction arm
The extraction arm is composed of a self-supporting structure with a single pantograph made of stainless steel AISI316 tubing in support of the flexible transparent tubing composed of Polyurethane-Polyester walls with a harmonic steel wire helix in compliance with EU and FDA regulations as regards the contact with food products. The self-supporting structure is also balanced on both of the arm members through springs and multiple adjustable plastic frictions. Flexible tubing easily removable for thorough cleaning. Protective sleeve completely covering the arm. No component of the arm is placed inside the suction flow.
Hood
On a 360° pivoting flange of Dn 160mm.
Base
The Pharma Hood “With swing handle” in AISI316 stainless steel easily removable from the arm’s body and designed to avoid “cross-contamination”, and then with zones of accumulation of debris or difficult to clean. The complete rotation of the handle in any position allows an optimum handling of the arm. Joint of support of the coping external to the suction flow.
Wall bracket
It is made of a AISI316 stainless steel piping and provided with a coupling and counter-flange; these components are not included in the version equipped with an exhaust fan.
Exhaust fan (if required)
AISI316 stainless steel, centrifugal, forward curved blades impeller, 220/400V motor, 3 Ph, 50Hz. IP55. IE3 for power outputs over 0,55kW.
