2019 - 2020 - Support during concept design
The early steps of the project were handled from Europe. We were approached by major engineering companies in their concept design exercise to provide key information critical for the foundation of the project:
- Advanced technical information on available technologies and manufacturing capabilities
- High level budgets for overall cost estimations
- Estimated delivery schedules to build a master planning
We arranged for few discussions in Ireland together with various stakeholders including our partners and engineering companies.
This led to the internal approval within the client's team and go-ahead for the project, and subsequently to our first order of major process equipment for the plant: more than 15 agitated glass-lined reactors from few hundred liters to more than 15,000 liters capacity.
2021 - 2022 - Support during project execution onsite
During this period, we were involved with various contact points working on different aspects of the project:
- Coordinating the delivery and installation of our glass-lined reactors with the construction team. Such critical equipment has to be placed within a raw building with only core and main superstructures, to allow the rest of the process and plant to be built around.
- Working with the engineering company on the detailed design of various ancillary equipment (utilities, laboratory...)
- Manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of many different equipment in all areas of the plant
During these two years we secured contracts with the EPCM, construction contractors as well as the final client directly, to supply various equipment as required by different areas.
2023 onwards - Support to client's operations
As the project construction & commissioning phase is ending and the final client is taking over the plant for it's operations, we have already started to support with:
- Building a stock of recommended spare parts for each equipment to minimize downtime in case of breakdown
- Providing training on equipment operation and maintenance
- Preventive maintenance contracts to ensure proper care of the equipment and avoid impact to operations
